Memorabilia Shelf

Many people have memorabilia scattered all around the house on ‘same size’ shelves, in the attic, in drawers, boxes, etc. One of our clients asked us to make them some shelves with layouts that would be great fits for a collection of prized & cherished items with various sizes & shapes. They had shopped around for china cabinets & bookshelves, but none of them were really suited for displaying their many ‘treasures’. Basically, they needed more width & less depth for their desired display; and they needed many different sizes & shapes of compartments.

The clients took part in the design/layout. We helped them take measurements of their chosen location for the shelves which would be in their den. Once we got the dimensions for the height, width, and depth of the destination, we made a temporary ‘table’ for them to horizontally lay out & arrange all the items. Then we determined where all the mini-shelves and dividers could be arranged.

A couple of weeks later we installed their Custom Memorabilia Shelves as shown here…

They chose solid oak, opted for no glass, no doors, and just a few small drawers. They were extremely pleased with the result.
